Dynamic gospel artiste and Worship leader Marvel Joks has released a brand new single titled ‘Uwese’. The new single is from his recently released album ‘’Melody’. ‘Uwese’ which means THANK YOU in Benin (a dialect in Nigeria), is a song of worship to appreciate God for His goodness and kindness.
‘’BENIN has got a rich cultural heritage, from their food to their fashion style and especially their music which is mostly traditional. Beside culture, i believe God has an agenda for the Bini’s in this end time. How do i know? Because it is the place some of the greatest MEN OF GOD THAT HAS EVER WALKED THE FACE OF THE EARTH were birthed, from our grandfather ARCH BISHOP BENSON IDAHOSA.
And i feel that the whole world should come to Benin and be a part of this great move of God. And while i was pondering about this the Lord gave me a Benin song that’s new in style, different from all the Benin songs that has been, a song everyone from every tribe, or works of life can relate with in the place of worship’’.
Uwese is a song with a blend of the urban contemporary sound, yet retains its traditional flavor. MARVEL JOKS is dedicating this song to his grandfather ARCH BISHOP BENSON IDAHOSA OF BLESSED MEMORY.
