Gospel music sensation Sunmisola Agbebi has  released her highly anticipated 9-track EP, The Glory—a soul-stirring project that captures the essence of worship, faith, and the undeniable presence of God. This EP release comes at a defining moment in her career. Sunmisola recently became the first female Afro-gospel artist to surpass 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify, a historic feat that underscores the genre’s increasing global resonance. Further solidifying her rise, she has been named Spotify’s EQUAL Artist for February, joining a prestigious lineup of female artists championing change and representation across the music industry.

Sunmisola Elizabeth Agbebi Okeleye, born on May 2, 1998, in Lagos State, Nigeria, is a renowned Nigerian gospel singer, songwriter, and worship leader. She gained prominence through her unique renditions of popular gospel songs, captivating audiences with her soulful voice and heartfelt performances.

Sunmisola’s musical journey began at the tender age of four, marking her first public performance. Over the years, she has released impactful songs such as “B’ola” and “My Daddy, My Daddy,” the latter featuring Lawrence Oyor. Her collaborations extend to various artists, and she frequently engages in spontaneous worship sessions alongside her husband, fellow gospel singer Yinka Okeleye.

In October 2022, Sunmisola hosted a live recording concert titled “As It Is In Heaven” (AIIIH) at the Charis Event Center in Lagos State. During this event, she unveiled a reimagined version of “My Daddy, My Daddy” in collaboration with its original composer, Lawrence Oyor. The following month, she performed “The Garden of Our Heart” at the Dubai Expo, sharing the stage with Grammy award-winning composer A. R. Rahman and the Firdaus Orchestra.

Sunmisola’s personal life garnered attention when she became engaged to Yinka Okeleye on March 2, 2023. Their marriage took place on March 5, 2023, in Lagos State, culminating in their wedding on June 3, 2023.

Her discography includes singles like “Amazing” (2020), “Koseunti” (2022), and “B’Ola (Honour)” (2023). She has also been featured in tracks such as “He’s Alive” by Folabi Nuel in 2023.
