Gospel artiste – Okey (Pastor Okey Okebalam) releases his new single titled – ”My Yahweh” – his project that has been carefully prepared in the music production winery, and is taken off his album project that is in view. 

It is a sweet Reggae song with a lover’s rock feel that captivates all of your listening attention from the second you press the play button till you leave it on repeat permanently. 


Okey believes that our relationship with God should be at the centre of our decisions, actions and experiences. He strongly believes that we should not be ashamed to let the world know that we belong to God, and he’s all that matters. Such that once we get it right with God, we cannot go wrong with every other aspect of our lives.

The intentionality and adroitness inputted in the entire process of the production is revealed in the enchanting feel the song carries. Especially, when the world renowned music producer and hit maker – Ambassador Wole Oni added a touch of his unique expertise and experience.

Artiste Brief

Godfrey Okechukwu Okebalam, whose stage name is Okey is a singer, composer, publisher and a preacher of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

His love for music started when he was a kid. For him, music has always been a major part of his life. From home to primary school, through to University, himself and his siblings sang as part of their daily life. His mother is also a strong vocalist and a very good dancer.

But his born again experience fired the passion to flame over fifteen years ago. As the ability to compose songs jumped to the fore of his creativity following this event.

He has worked with churches as a worship leader, a music director and pianist. Moving on, he has come to realise that the songs he has written by inspiration of the Holy Spirit can be transferred into worship tools for people to use all over the world.

Hence the decision to produce and release some of his uniquely expressed songs. He opens the floor with his Single, My Yahweh produced by King Salvage, co-produced by the illustrious Amb. Wole Oni.
