‘If there is a time, that I need you, Jesus its NOW’. This is such a powerful and timely prayer for today as globally, humans are faced with one common challenge – Helplessness.

However, it is ironic that the inspiration for this song dropped in my spirit way before COVID-19 hit Wuhan. This was a reflection of my personal struggles on the essence of prayer.

As Christians living in a country where nothing works, do we pray because it is only common sense to run to God as a means of protection and sustenance? If I was in an environment where the system was set up to make sure I flourish and I did flourish, would I still need God? The answer is the parable of the rich fool, but I wont get into it.

Christianity is a call for more, whether in a pandemic or normalcy, abundance or none, it is a call for more.

Ambassadors are called to represent, whether for countries or for brands. It is a position of honor, privilege and then great responsibility. We are ambassadors for Jesus and our lives must reflect Heaven.

Have I been a good ambassador? Not exactly, hence my prayer to do better.
‘If there is a time, that I need you, Jesus its NOW! ‘NOW’ is such a specific word yet infinite in meaning. This is a wake up call for all of us that there is no better time than NOW. This is my prayer! What is yours? – Toks Nnamani
