Ubong Ukor Speaks About “IDARA” And Soon To Drop Album;
A little story behind the album, I lost my younger sister a few months ago. My dilemma was how I was going to break the news to momsie.
I summoned courage and did break the news to her. She placed her finger on my chest and said to me, I they ask you how do you see this thing or how do you feel; say to them – Kob Idara omoyoho k’esit mi. I got encouraged by her reaction. I summoned courage, found my voice and with support from Bobby Friga a brother from another mother, the recording started.
A renaissance album of 10 beautiful tracks laced with afro spiritual vocals and rhythms. A fusion of smooth jazz and soul for that sweet feeling that takes you out of this world.
Anticipate! Wait for it. Thank you to all of you who had always believed in me. More than ever, I need you to push through with this project.

Album is dedicated to Mrs Itorobong Ajibade as she smiles from above. No day passes without thoughts of you but this assurance we have, You’re in a much better place where #Idara reigns 2/4/7.
