Samuel Akhimienho aka Samsoft , an afrocentric/hip hop Gospel artist from Uzzeba, Edo State of Nigeria is currently playing big in the United States of America.
The Nigerian American gospel artist popularly called the king of gospel Afrocentric hip hop, has recently been involved in many concerts, crusades and seminars in America, Europe and Africa.
He has worked with world acclaimed musicians like Ron Kenoly, Tye tribbett, Alvin slaughter, Martha Munizzi and many more.
His unique style of music has earned him a platinum selling status in the United States, allowing him to be ranked among the mainstream artist in his genre.
With the increasing demand for his music at home and abroad, Samsoft is poised to take gospel music to another level.
Samsoft passion and mission in life centers on the advancement of gospel music, also doubles as the president of one voice united and a choir director, Making Gospel music relevant in a post modern society.
He is notably known for leading urban contemporary gospel choirs such as City Mass choir, BBM, Boston Multicultural Mass Choir both in the USA, and lots more.
Samsoft is also a motivator of young singers, as he is involved in projects that inspire African Americans and other young Nigerians in the United States to become successful singers and choir directors.
He began singing in church when he was 12 years old and currently plays 4 instruments including the keyboard, bass guitar and drum.
SAMSOFT is a song writer cum music producer with four albums to his credit and a new single ‘HOLY SPIRIT’.
Samsoft was the first to Produce for Alec Music at that time Alec was the Music director of his fathers church Temple of deliverance Sapele and Samsoft & Alec are still very good friends hence Alec scripted the Music Video for the new single ‘HOLY SPIRIT’ and was Directed by one of America’s best, Will Thomas.
Samsoft Started with a group called G-light in sapele who performed around the universities and Christ embassy churches , they were very influential among the youths and in Christ embassy church at that time . They are all doing very well as solo artist now.
Samsoft and the prince of the Niger Delta, Asu Ekiye are also very good friends and Asu Ekiye has hosted Samsoft in Nigeria several times in concert and they are presently working on a single together.
Born in the ancient city of Owo, Ondo State Nigeria, the Music sensation grew up in the city of Sapele Delta State; Got born again when he was 12 years old and currently resides in Boston M.A, U.S.A.
