This is an Introduction of a budding Christian Rapper by the name Chee-Z.
Burn It Down in this context means ‘forget it’. On this great hip-hop tune which is the first single off his forthcoming project ‘Why People Need Cowries – The EP’, young Christian artist Chee-Z features fellow rapper and producer of this song Limoblaze. They both talk about how they will forever be down to spreading the gospel through music because there is an ultimate price.
They ain’t scared of what tomorrow holds because they have eternity in sight. No matter the environment, circumstance or platform they find themselves they will keep on repping Christ not minding the cost or size of audience.
So if you’re having thoughts that materiality will change their direction then they are telling you to ‘BURN IT DOWN’.
