Dorisphils Kanu is one of Africa’s finest soulful Gospel Artist and anointed Worship Leader with three power-packed albums to her credit.
She started singing at age ten and won the ‘Talent of the year’ award even as a young artist. Her hit single titled “EBUBE“, meaning Glory, is a testimony of the amazing grace and transformational power of God. The dynamic recording artiste, who is also a prolific songwriter, has a captivating blend of unique musical expressions; an exciting mixture of contemporary and Afrocentric sounds.
With a musical career spanning over twelve years, Dorisphils has become a familiar face in the Nigerian Gospel music scene in the last couple of years with the successful releases Of UCHENNA (audio & video) in May 2016, IT’S YOU in November 2016 and MOST HIGH in July 2017 off her forthcoming fourth album.
Dorisphils’ songs are melodious, soul-stirring and spiritually enriching. In June 2016, she won the Woman of Praise Awards UK (WOPA). Her live ministrations are usually backed with signs, wonders and miracles following.
Dorisphils lives in the city of Port Harcourt, Nigeria where she serves as a worship leader/Choir Director in her local church and she is happily married with a son.
