Keldon Barkhar was born the 10th of Jan, 1988 and grew up in his home town La Romaine. Keldon’s musical background started when he was a part of the St Benedict Catholic church choir. Then he went on the join the St Gabrelites pan side, where he played 4th bass. Soon after he found himself in a church where he learned how to play drums better and sing.
Keldon enjoys listening to Gospel music, in a variety of forms including Reggae, Dancehall and Soca. Personally, he enjoys singing and ministering as a Gospel Reggae artist. His debut release, “JahLove”, was produced, mixed and mastered by Koen Duncan’s Krimson 33 Records.
Keldon’s inspiration for this song came from a conversation with a young lady who lives her life as a lesbian. He told her it was not the way God wanted her to live and gave her hope that God’s love was available to her despite her situation.
KDB as he is known, plans to seek the kingdom of God first and allow God to open new doors for him to minister in song. In time he aspires to create new jobs and opportunities for others to have a successful life in God. His philosophy of ministry is “In all things give praises”. If given the opportunity KDB will love to be able to do a full album and work with a live band.
When asked where does he see himself in the next five (5) years, KDB says “Deeper in God and His Word, ministering to people as God sees fit.”
