US based Nigerian Gospel artiste Emem Washington has got a way with spicing up the Gospel. On the single “Rebirth”, Emem vamped up a solemn message and it is very apt for such a title as “Rebirth”. She is not only using her words to define the new awakening, she is also communicating with her sound and style.
“Rebirth” which is the album title track does not only address a revival of the spirit but the consciousness of God in every facets of life. Even in the most unlikely. It alludes to the removing of veil and the tearing down of curtain. Emem is saying you can come to God as you are and let His power revamp you!
This is the 3rd single the life coach and author has released in recent times. It comes ahead of the official release of her video from yet another single off the “Rebirth” album.
Emem Washington features Morayo on the Beautiful sound seated in the Techno/House Music genre.
