Music: World Changers’ Anthem ~ Barnabas Alayande [@BeyondLiturgy]

Published

on

The World Changers’ Anthem by Barnabas Alayande single is an inspired attempt at translating the cry of God’s heart. The earth is in need of world changers- people of transformational thought; radical non-conformists who do not just wait for things to happen but will deliberately create history by being relevant. These will not just be people who first attempt to change systems. Rather, they will start by being the change. If you can change the heart- change the man- you can change the world, and God’s medium of change is His word. This fusion of soft rock and rhythm and blues produced by Drumma is a lyrical prophecy calling for the response of a new creation inspired by 2Corinthinans 5:17. With Neken and Gold Owen on guitars and additional vocals by Maggie Okoh and Mbasity, the song is set to be a world changer’s anthem.

LYRICS
World Changers’ Anthem by Barnabas Alayande (produced by Drumma)
I need you to climb the highway, I need you to count the cost
I need you to take the nations, I need you to find the lost
I need you to seize the moment, I need you to carry the cross
And from your little corner, I need you to change the world
You can change the world
2.
I need you to climb the highway, I need you to count the cost
I need you to take the nations, I need you to find the lost
I need you to seize the moment, I need you to carry the cross
And from your little corner, I need you to
Chorus
Change the world
I need you to change the world
I need you to change the world
I need you to change the world

Hear the voice of the Spirit say
Verse 2.
I need you to move the mountains, I need you to walk the seas
I need you to go the distance, I need you to speak for me
I need you to be the instance, I need you to go for me
And from your little corner, I need you to
Coda
Change the world, one person at a time
Change the world, just a little at a time
Change the world, you’ve got nations on your mind, but let’s redefine
Hello world changer, I’ma start by changing me
I’m a world changer, I’ma start by changing me
Ethos
[He walks in and says, ‘How many of you want change?’ and all hands around the room went up. Then he asked, ‘How many of you want to change?’, and not a single hand went up. Before you can change anything, you need to be changed. To be the change.]
End
Change the world
