Folake Bridget Idowu is a talented singer-songwriter and accomplished worshipper. Her career started in Nigeria as worship leader of various Christian ministries, and later, she began to compose her songs.
“Oba Onise Nla” which means “Wonderful God” was her debut album, a collection of breakthrough praise and gospel songs and its headline concert had 2,000 people in attendance at the Aurora Conference Centre, Osogbo, Nigeria.
Folake Bridget Idowu has done well as an experienced worship leader in different denominations with her music style shining through. You can call it a blend of contemporary worship, afro-praise, hymns and gospel.
Today, she released her debut UK single “Vows,” a song dedicated to bringing the focus back to Jesus Christ in time for the Christmas season.  Shout to Essie B Music, the producer. This brand new song will capture listeners with its simplicity and soulful worship melodies.
“I was inspired by Psalm 61 which led to a reflection on my Christian walk,” shared Folake. “I wanted to renew my vows. My sincere desire is to see God’s people delight wholeheartedly in honouring God’s greatness in the praise and dance.”
Folake hopes “Vows” will encourage Christians to seek renewal and rededicate their focus on Jesus more in 2019 and beyond.
