Following the release of her singles “Say Amen”,“Igwe” and “My Heart Sings”, Aijay releases this up-tempo song titled LIGHT in which she features singer and song writer John Godfrey.
With so much evil going on in our world today, LIGHT is a song that encourages everyone to live right, (shine as light) and thus dispel the darkness.
LIGHT (produced by Bass Addict), as well as earlier released singles are songs on her debut album.
Aijay is all set to release this debut album titled ”Say Amen”on the 29^th of November, 2015 at the Highlife Church, Landmark Centre, 3-4 Water Corporation Road, Victoria Island, Lagos.

ABOUT AIJAY
Ijeoma Desmond-Ugwudi,born as the third out of 6 children hails from Imo State.
A Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science(BMLS) degree holder, Aijay is a practicing Laboratory Scientist who started singing at a very tender age in the children’s choir of her home church in Owerri, Nigeria  where she grew up. She took her first “major’’ solo at theOwerri Christian Youth Forum Mass Choir concert in 1996.
While in the higher institution, Aijay served as music director in House on The Rock (The Word House)Enugu  for 3 years. She has recorded  hit songs like Na u sabi,Chegharia(Repent), Ebubedike under Kerruzzo Entertainment which received massive air play on the radio and TV stations in 2006-2008. Also she’s got singles like Say Amen, My Heart Sings and Igwe under Xousia Music. All these songs have been well received in Nigeria and  globally.
Aijay is the CEO of Be-In-Health Foundation,an organisation which provides free health  care and drugs for the less-privileged.
Aijay sees herself as a servant who is constantly in search of her Master’s heart. She believes we were all created for a purpose and she has found hers,one of which is to tell the world about the love of Jesus through her songs.

• Worked under Kerruzzo entertainment where she released her debut album which featured artistes like Freke Umoh, Wizboyy, Paul Adams.
• Currently working on her next album(to be released in November 2015) under Xousia Music which will be featuring artistes like BOUQUI , John Godfrey etc.
• Performed at the National Transformation Conference(2010) in Enugu Nigeria alongside top gospel artistes like Samsong, Frank Edwards and Sammie Okposo.
• Performed at the Christian Union National Conference in University of Benin, Nigeria.
• Wrote the Rochas Foundation Anthem (theme song) and performed it live at the launch ceremony in Lagos and Abuja, Nigeria.
• Ministered with Don Moen at Good Morning Enugu,Decemeber 2014.
• She has done a lot of radio tours across major cities in Nigeria, Africa, America.

OTHER SKILLS:
Aijay loves volleyball and soccer. She also plays a little of the guitar.
